COVID-19 Update

March 17, 2020
Palmetto Addiction Recovery Center’s top priority is the safety of our clients and staff. We are following protocol as outlined by the Department of Health and Hospitals as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Our staff and clients have been educated and will take precautionary measures to avoid the spread of the coronavirus.
With that being said, we are still accepting new clients with extreme screening measures. Palmetto has incorporated additional supplies for disinfection such as hand sanitizers, sprays and soaps.
In addition to the above precautions:
  • All client outings have been postponed including outside AA meetings
  • All grocery shopping will be online and picked up by staff
  • No non-essential visitation for 30 days as outlined by DHH
If one does show symptoms of the virus, the client will be taken to the local hospital for testing. If positive, the DHH will be contacted and protocol will be followed as instructed.
Additionally, we will have to postpone our Alumni Reunion. Please look out for a new date in the future. Please be cognizant to cover cough and sneeze and practice constant and correct handwashing.
Stay safe & healthy,
Palmetto
